Well, when Jesus was born, God said He(Jesus) was fully God, and fully man. Jesus is the essence of God because He has the full power of God, though only does what the Father tells him to, but is not the Father himself. The Son(Jesus) the Father(God, or more specifically Jehovah, Yahweh etc.) and the Holy Ghost/ Spirit are three separate beings, while being one. It's confusing, yeah; I know.

God from god light from light meaning?

If I understand your question correctly, God is the light of this world as is His Son Jesus Christ. From them comes all knowledge (Light) Precept upon precept, here a little there a little until we all come to an understanding of God and become partakers of his light. Alternatively, if you are referring to the phrase below from the Nicene creed And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father [the only-begotten; that is, of the essence of the Father, God of God], Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; This is a statement of the divinity of Jesus, being of the same essence as God. It denies that Jesus was in any way made or created, even if that "creating" was done by God. Jesus proceeds from or streams forth from the Father, and has always existed.

Do christians worship the god of the Hebrews?

The simple answer is yes. We (Christians) believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish messiah, but that He is also God incarnate; or God made into man. As such we worship God of the Hebrews through Jesus. There is also the Holy Spirit which we also believe to be God. This is called the Trinity God the Father (ie Hebrew view of God), God the Son (Jesus of Nazareth) and God the Holy Spirit (which is like the essence or Spirit of God active in the present time).

What is the significance of the relationship between God and Jesus in Christian theology?

The relationship between God and Jesus in Christian theology is significant because it represents the belief in the Trinity, where God is seen as three persons in one essence - the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. This relationship is central to the Christian faith as it reflects the belief in the divinity of Jesus and his role in salvation for humanity.

How did Jesus know everything?

Why do scholars debate the meaning of Jesus' utterance on the cross My God my God why have you forsaken me?

When christ said these words on the cross, we must remember that as Jesus carried the sins of the world at that time , god looked away from Jesus. As god is holy and pure there is no place for any sin to be there , so he had to look away from his son Jesus.

Are the Father and Jesus one?

One as in mission or purpose, YES. One as both being God, NO. Jesus made it abundantly clear that He is one with the Father, not just in mission but in His very essence or person. 'I and the Father are one'. 'Before Abraham was 'I AM.' Jesus also forgave sin, something only God could do.
