I am not sure if this sin has a particular name, but for the Christian it is caused by using your Christian liberties too loosely. We are not to use our liberties in Christ if that something might make a person stumble even though we are free to practice it say in the santurary of our own home.

Additional Comments:

Perhaps you are referring to what Paul wrote in Hebrews. As 'disciples' of Christ, Christians are to 'imitate Him' completely as the term is defined. To do anything 'imperfect' or opposite His human experience has the potential of leading others astray. As it is impossible for we humans to function alone on this perfect level, Jesus promised to ask His Father to send those who repent and are baptized into Christ (see Acts 2:38-41) a 'Helper or Comforter' to join with our human spirit, helping us grow in God's ways. Christians then are to lead by the examples, words/teachings and the faith of Jesus Christ via God's Holy Spirit leading us. Then, only willfully sinning against the Spirit of God and exhibiting this example to others, is called the 'unpardonable sin.'

Hebrews 10:26-27

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Just Live by Faith

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
