What is from Allah and His Messenger is CLEAR. The Shiah make things up after Muhammad - and they think it will be accepted by Allah ! It's the same mistake the Jews and Christians make - they change their religious beliefs and practices as time goes by. They think Allah will accept it, but He will not.
Did Muhammad tell us to beat and cut ourselves over the death of anyone? Is not death written by Allah? Is it possible to change the time of anyone's death? So why are they beating themselves up in sorrow and regret that they could not save Hussein, ( may Allah be pleased with him ) ? It is not only an invention in the religion which Muhammad never ordered, it is also disbelief in Allah - for only Allah will determine how and when each person will die. And Allah and His Messenger never order doing something to harm oneself.
Follow ONLY what you find in The Qur'an and Sunnah - AND NOTHING ELSE. Do not invent new things in the religion which Allah has perfected. Do not change the religion which Muhammad had delivered perfectly. Do not make the same mistake as the Jews and Christians.
