Absolutly NOTHING.
I just gave away a 12 peice set of plated silverware.
The silver shop was not interested.
It is gold plated and therefore is only worth what a normal (damaged) 1941 dime is worth, which is about $2.20 or so in scrap silver.
About $2.20ish in silver scrap. They are common and only worth silver scrap regardless of condition.
First of all, theres no such thing as "silver plated sterling". Sterling is 92.5% silver, anything plated is just plated. If the item is solid sterling silver, its metal value depends on the current price of silver - but it may be worth more as a collectible. If it's plated base metal it has very little value.
Its worth about $5 in scrap silver. It is 40% silver and only worth scrap silver.
how is silver plated silver worth now
It is worth about $1.50 in scrap silver, it is 35% silver.
This is not done at the mint, rather, a third-party has punched two dates in it and gold plated it. It is only worth what a circulated Kennedy half dollar (because it has been damaged) of that date is worth, there is no extra value. If its dated 1964 it is 90% silver and worth about $8 in scrap silver. If it is dated 1965-1970 it is 40% silver and its worth about $3.25 in scrap silver. If it is dated 1971-present it is just worth 50 cents, nothing more.
or silver plated sil
It is worth about $1.50 in scrap silver, it is 35% silver.
Depends, there is no coin minted by the US Mint with the Dallas Cowboys on it so its not going to be a collectible to coin collectors. But, your coin may be made out of real silver and so it would be worth the metallic value. Of course, if your coin is something like silver plated copper it is only worth a few cents, but if its silver dollar sized and made out of pure or sterling silver it is worth nearly $20 in silver scrap.
It is 40% silver and worth about $5 in scrap silver regardless of condition.
