What kind of house do Amish people live in?

Same kind as you and I do, most are middle class large farm stick built houses, but some young married couples will live in trailers to Begin with.

Some these farm homes, can have many additional section to increase size of house, to accommodated larger number of children and extended elderly parents.

Most of the homes are preexisting dwellings built by English outsiders, purchased with the property, and modifications like ripping out carpets, and getting ride most electrical outlets and appliances are as much change that may happen on occupying by Amish.

Amish use near same building materials, and near same equipment, in building a home from scratch.

The truth is, the houses may be plainer, using less color and fancy details, but they are very nice houses any one would love to live in.
