What other opinions are there about the afterlife?

I can give you the fact about the after life. If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart you will go to Heaven. If you haven't you will go to hell forever. The Bible clearly states this in several places.

There have been many answers to similar questions regarding the afterlife, but as I saw your queston and have never, as far as I know, given my opinion; I do so now to give you some knowledge of the afterlife.

It is my understanding that there are two types of afterlife, the first is that spirit world where all who have died await their time to be alloted their place in one of the kingdoms of our father in heaven. Remember when Christ was on the cross and the thief asked Him to remember him, Christ said "In my father kingdom there are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you". What He was saying was "In accordance with how you have behaved upon this earth, and if you have accepted me as your saviour, you will be given the best that the Father can give you. When you get to the spirit world (After life) you will be given further teachings which you will accept or reject, for you will still have your agency.

The second stage is when all who have ever lived and have died now reside in their various kingdoms, there to stay for all eternity. The thief's kingdom will be that which he has earned for himself while in to world.

I am sorry this is so long but just a bit more if I may. Few of us will reside where God lives, most will live in lesser kingdoms where they may advance themselves within that kingdom, but can go no further.

Perhaps as varied as there are Christians. Some believe upon death, the 'soul' goes to heaven (reward) or hell (punishment). If they are too young to know then Purgatory or Limbo - though Limbo is falling out of acceptance recently. Others believe what the Bible teaches and non mankind's interpretations that we die or 'sleep' until we are called to our judgment process.
