We are saved by faith (spiritual) and not of ourselves (rationality) lest any man should boast. Knowledge that is based solely on faith may possibly be supported by rationally derived knowledge, but it cannot be undone by refutations that come from rationally derived knowledge. I am talking about the most sublime faith, the faith that is one's salvation. We can't demand it, and we can't even seek it. Yes, there is the sinner's prayer, but faith is entirely God's act and not any of ours, "lest any man should boast". Whether or not God ALWAYS grants this faith to those who ask is for anothers to speculate upon. The basic truth from a faith perspective is that once in possession of this faith, the faith is seen and experienced as different from any natural faith that comes about by rational processes.

People of faith see dedication to science and rationality as futile, but some of them don't 'get' that people who do not have faith cannot possibly see the world through the perspective of people who do. And arguing science or religion with such unfaithful will accomplish nothing; coming to faith simplythrough someone's rational argument is not possible; it comes from the Spirit, in whatever way the Spirit chooses to act.

People dedicated to gaining knowledge through rational processes see 'faith based knowledge' as a pipedream at best, and some of them don't 'get' that trying to convince people of faith otherwise is a waste of time. No amount of facts and figures, however convincing, should be able to undo what is spiritually discerned.

It all hinges on faith.

Why thales is called the father of philosophy?

Thales is considered the father of philosophy because he was one of the earliest known thinkers to seek natural explanations for the workings of the world, instead of relying on mythological or religious explanations. What scientific discoveries and methods during the Age of Enlightenment made religion and spiritual concerns?

During the Age of Enlightenment, scientific discoveries such as heliocentrism (Copernicus), evolution (Darwin), and the laws of physics (Newton) challenged traditional religious beliefs by providing naturalistic explanations for phenomena previously attributed to divine intervention. The scientific method, with its emphasis on empirical evidence and rational inquiry, also promoted a more secular worldview that questioned religious dogma. These developments led to a shift in society's focus from spiritual concerns to a more evidence-based approach to understanding the world.

How do humanists believe the world was created?

I can write only what I believe. The earth and all that exists in this universe were the creation of God. The center of gravity is not natural but unnatural. The light, air, water and everything you see on this earth including creatures are unnatural. The entire solar system is under a law created by a supreme being. Law and order didn't come from nothing. God had created the center of gravity of the earth. If God removes it, everything you see on this earth will fly high to the sky. God’s powers are immeasurable and unimaginable. He didn’t want to stay idle with all of his powers. He had created many planets and at last he had got the idea of creating the earth. Those planets are empty while earth rotates filled with many kinds of creatures. After creating the human beings, God might have thought that he had entangled himself in a great responsibility. He had created spirits too for various purposes. He is creating new spirits even now. The possession of these spirits cause new developments on this earth. I guess God's character is somewhat different from what religions usually think. God's involvement in humans' personal affairs is very rare. God is responsible for what he had created on this earth and human beings are responsible for what they have created on this earth. The religions' teachings and preachings might have made people to think about God in a different angle. They must learn to think about him in a right angle. The relationship between God and human beings is just like a relationship between a scientist and his robots. Humans must think scientifically too. If God wants to do everything himself then why must he create medicinal herbs, plants and science for physical health and moral and discipline for mental health of human kind. Human beings must know the ways to rule themselves on this earth. He is always ready to grant intelligence and all that human beings need. He is always creating new spirits on this earth and make new developments on this earth. God can determine the life of the human beings but he never does it. Only spirits determine the life of the human beings from their (humans') daily activities, talks and thoughts too. God never bothers whether people believe in him or not. God's direct intervention in individuals' affairs is very rare. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. God is a mystery even to the spirits. Spirits are not eternal beings but their lifetime is long. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, instincts, interests and everything. Further there will be always some spirits with you on behalf of your parents, friends, relatives and Gods you believe. Only these spirits make you remember them in a certain situations. All of these spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. A mind is a group/formation of many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. A mind is just like a computer's mind. After the computer is completely destroyed you will not get its mind. The same is the case with the human beings. A brain is a device used by the spirits to control the body and mind. (A senior spirit or a chief can control other spirits) A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism. After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives after death in any form. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

What were The scientific discoveries and methods during the age of enlightenment made religion and spiritual concerns?

During the Age of Enlightenment, scientific discoveries and methods emphasized reason, empirical evidence, and the scientific method, leading to a shift in how people understood the natural world. Figures like Isaac Newton and Galileo Galilei made significant contributions to physics and astronomy, challenging traditional religious explanations of the universe. This era fostered a more secular worldview, where rational inquiry began to eclipse spiritual and religious concerns, prompting debates about faith, existence, and morality that were increasingly grounded in human reason rather than divine revelation. Consequently, Enlightenment thought laid the foundation for modern secularism and the questioning of religious authority.
