To uphold the glory of God by saying that I mean live by the Ten Commandments and bring honour and glory to his glorious name
God specially created the human race; one male and one female "in THEIR image, after THEIR likeness" [see Gen.1:26] In other words; God created "sex." And as God created it, those two people and each and every child born since, have been and are unique [each one developing their own unique character and personality traits according to their life's experiences and environment -- no two are quite the same or alike]. And they have all been and are... and always shall be... created in the image and likeness of their fathers.
Martin Droushout is the artist who created the picture of Shakespeare which was printed in the First Folio, surely the most famous image of the Bard. It is also the best authenticated image of him, since a number of people who knew Shakespeare well said it was a good likeness.
Well we must be kind, honest and respectful. Also, I think that us as human beings should always be kind to each other.
The word image means "In the likeness of". So when you read that someone is in the image of his father it simply means that not only do they look alike back in most cases act the same. So when we read that Christ is in the image of His father, it means that they are the same in form and have the same purpose.
It is safest to assume that any image created since 1923 is protected by copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise.
In the first biblical creation story (Genesis 1:1-2:4a), man is made directly in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). However Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that we must scrupulously avoid reading into the second creation story (Genesis 2:4b-20) any facts or notions taken from the first, and vice versa. Thus, in reading about the origin of man in the story of the Garden of Eden, he says that we must not say or even think that man is here created in God's image. Thus we have two quite independent biblical stories of the creation of man, only one of which says that we are created in the image and likeness of God. Nevertheless, it helps us to understand the dignity of man if we look to the first story and read from this that we are created in the image and likeness of God.For more information, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation

Well, since people have created god as the embodiment of all the things that they wanted to aspire to (an ideal image of humanity), you can create your own god by creating your own image of the perfect you. And so when you have create that perfect image of yourself, you will have created your own god. From there onwards you will only have to meditate on that image daily and develop parts of yourself so that you can gradually become the perfect you that you have always wanted to be.
