Catholic AnswerThere is no Mass on Good Friday, this is the one day of the year where Mass is never celebrated in the Catholic Church. There is a service at 3 pm because this is the time of day that Our Blessed Lord died, it used to be called the Mass of the Presanctified as the Hosts for Holy Communion were consecrated on Holy Thursday. The Good Friday Liturgy includes the reading of the Passion, the Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion, but no Mass.
If you are talking about the service, then it depends on the number of candidates receiving first holy communion. The children receiving the holy communion for the very first time normally have a skit or a play or a song at the end of the mass. So depending on all these the mass might last for and hour and a half.
There 33 are 34 Sundays in ordinary time (23 to 28 Sundays after Pentecost)
Bommers closes at midnight on Sundays
the YMCA closes at 6pm on sundays
It opens at 11:00 am on Sundays.
The 3rd Commandment of God, and the First Precept of the Church says to keep Holy the Lord's day which was Saturday before Jesus time. It was changed to Sunday after to honor the Resurrection as a day of rest to keep holy the Lord's day. As the Mass is nothing less than the re-presentation of Our Blessed Savior's sacrifice of Himself upon the Cross for each of us and our salvation, nothing should enable us to keep away from the Eucharist as often as possible.
Kneeling is permitted at any time in the Eastern Orthodox Church, but most commonly during the preparation of the Holy Gifts (the prayers before Holy Communion). However, the Fathers of the Church have recommended that kneeling should not take place on Sundays, since it is the Day of the Lord's glorious Resurrection. So whilst it is not a strict rule, it is best to kneel only during weekday services, from Monday to Saturday, but preferably not on Sundays. On Sundays, instead of kneeling, we should bow our heads.
