The length of a typical church service is an hour. In many churches, there is a specific time and place where members gather for group meetings, Bible studies, and coffee and conversation. That can make it take two or more hours to get there.
I get there a half hour before the service in case any help is needed setting up. Our service is aand lasts until close t We then go into the Parish Hall for coffee, goodies, and fellowship. On Easter it was my turn to bring goodies. Iβm not much of a baker, so I did the best that I could, a plate of Peeps. About some of us talk about where we might want to go for lunch, and we so do. I spend the morning there, with a group of nice people.

There are those of course who do not grow much at all and that is to their detriment.
