JESUS was the messiah that was promised in the old testament. He was the fulfillment of old testament prophecy.

A:Jesus took Peter, James and John up into a high mountain, where his appearance changed, and they saw him talking to two strangers. Somehow, the disciples knew without question that the strangers talking to Jesus were Moses and Elijah. Why the disciples even thought the men were Moses and Elijah is not stated.
Jesus was in the new testament and not the old testament.

Jesus is not mentioned in the Old Testament, only in the New Testament. While some people believe that Jesus is of the house of David, in accordance with prophecy, that has not been proved. In theology all things are debatable.

Those that were raised from the dead at Christs death and the rest at His resurrection were all the Old Testament saints. They were raised from the dead, and taken up to be with the Lord in Heaven.
As mostly all the parables were told by Jesus to people. It is in the new testament.
