God tells Abraham that his offspring will be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. This promise signifies not only a vast number of descendants but also the establishment of a great nation through Abraham's lineage. These metaphors highlight the immeasurable nature of his descendants and the covenant God makes with him.
If two things are able to interbreed, it means that they are of the same species. This can often be determined by whether they produce viable offspring that are also able to reproduce. If offspring are sterile or cannot reproduce, it suggests that the two things are not of the same species and therefore cannot interbreed.
I will bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you I will make your descendants more numerous than the grains of sand I will make you a great nation If you obey my commands I will bless you going in the city, bless you coming out. Your enemies will come after you one way but will flee in 7 directions

Genesis
sometimes yes, god does tell us to do things, like Noah's ark or sometimes you can just be imagining it Yes, "go forth and multiply..." God speaks to people, there are a lot of examples in the Bible like Moses and Abraham. God also tells us NOT to do things like in the Ten Commandments.
This is where Paul is describing that God's chosen nation are those that belong to Jesus. It was a transition from being physically born into it like the Jews/Israelites were, to being spiritually born into it through the baptism of holy spirit. The faith all Christians share should be in unity together and with Jesus. Verse 29 brings out how Jesus was Abraham's promised offspring and that those who belong to Christ and his Kingdom are also Abraham's offspring or "joint heirs" in that Kingdom.
