1 Corinthians 5:12 don't judge lest ye be judged.
He is not required to read you "chapter and verse" of what it will entail, that information is all contained in the paperwork that you will receive when (and if) you are bailed.
"Judge not, for with what judgment ye judge ye shall also be judged." This is especially effective when worn by young ladies.
It can be read in Matthew 7:1.
Depending upon the translation used, there are over 400 verses using the term judgment. But the most known verse is in Matthew 7 where Jesus tells the crowd, 'Judge not, that ye be not judged...'Most today use this as a maxim that we are not to judge - period. But that is not what it means. We are not to judge anyone by our own standards unless we too find ourselves being judged the same way when we stand before the Judgment seat. As Christians, we are to use God's righteous Law to judge as is written here:John 7:24Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. One of the many things we disciples of Christ are to learn in our lifetimes is how to judge righteously. For one day, we will even judge the angels (1 Corinthians 6:3).
Matthew 71&2 "Do not judge so that you will not be judged. v2 For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." People have mistakenly taken those verses to say that we should never judge another person or their actions. That is not what they mean. Look at verse 2, in the SAME WAY that you judge you will be judged. When you look at another's actions are you harsh, unmerciful, unforgiving? That is the way that God will look at your sins. On the other hand, are you compassionate, understanding, forgiving? That is the way that God will be towards you. Just a few verses down from 7:1&2 are verses 16&17 "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit." In these verses, which were in the same speech that verses 1&2 were in (The Sermon on the Mount) Jesus apparently tells us we are to judge, and we will know people by their actions.
If you are the teenager who read the Bible, then you must have came across the verse " Judge not, lest ye be judged." So, who are we to judge what's normal and what's not. If it make you feel good, then you're doing the right thing. If it make you fell bad, then..........
He asked God for wisdom, to be able to lead his people properly.See also:More about King Solomon
There is no such verse in the Bible. You are probably thinking of Matthew 23:25-26, where Jesus is telling the Scribes and Pharisees that they are hypocrites because they cleansed the outside of the cup but not the inside, meaning they made themselves look good on the out side, but inwardly in their heart they we like a dirty cup. This was one of their big problems. You do not want to put on a good exterior but be a filthy person on the inside.

The exact phrase "judge the spirit" doesn't appear in the KJV, NKJV, Standard or NIV translations of the NT. This is close: 1 John 4:1 - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (NKJV) Or you may be thinking of 1 Corinthians 2:13 - These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (NKJV)
Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
Some cite Ex 17:16 as the 2000th verse in the Bible so the 2013rd verse would be Ex 18:13."The next day Moses took his seat to serve as judge for the people, and they stood around him from morning till evening."There are 1,533 verses in book of Genesis and 1,213 in Exodus. Therefore, 2013rd is the 480th verse in the book of Exodus.
