There are no scripture verses that outright say that homosexuality is not a sin. However, Homosexuality was primarily regarded as a defiance of a health code by the ancient Hebrews, under the NEW LAW (Jesus) these regulations changed! The new law under Jesus was simple, "Love the Lord your god with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself" Luke 10:27 Jesus' mission was simple, it was to come to preach love and acceptance of ALL people and to set a place at the table for everyone, regardless of who they are or where they are on life's journey! All Are Welcome At His Table, Including Homosexuals! Um...no. Sorry. All ARE welcome to forgiveness at the CROSS, including homosexuals. Jesus loves everyone, and will accept any into His kingdom who is willing to accept His blood sacrifice for their forgiveness. But know this: when Jesus came, he was not declaring new law. He was fulfilling the old law. Luke 10:27 contained no "new law," but was simply Jesus quoting Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 (Moses' laws). 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Again, the "love your neighbor as yourself" portion is a direct quote from Leviticus 19. Check out the following two verses, one from the chapter preceding (Leviticus 18) and one from the chapter following (Leviticus 20) of the LAW Jesus was quoting as valid:

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

How do you get around that? Jesus' new covenant did not come until after Jesus' death on the cross. All that Jesus preached was fulfillment of Moses' law, which is what he was quoting here.

As for the new covenant, this is simply forgiveness of sins through Jesus' blood. This means that God will no longer look on your sins if you trust in Him. The law cannot save you; only Christ's blood can do that. But that does not mean that God's definition of what sin IS has changed. God can forgive a person's homosexual acts (they are actions - choices - not something like race that is not a choice), but He expects Christians to turn from it just as from any other sin. For proof that He still sees homosexuality as a sin, look here:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

So, sorry, your quotes of Jesus represent Moses' law, not "new law." And both laws condemn homosexuality as a sin. However, Jesus' new law differs in that it does not condemn THE HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS THEMSELVES. There is always hope of redemption. And homosexuality is a choice, just like the choice to get drunk or get angry; just because it may be determined that some people are genetically more likely to struggle with that particular temptation TO SIN (just like some are genetically more likely to have anger or alcoholism issues) that does not make it no longer a choice. And it doesn't make it right.

But through Jesus' blood is forgiveness of every sin. However, if you do not accept His sacrifice and submit to be washed in His blood for salvation, you will NEVER inherit God's kingdom. Whether or not you have committed sodomy, you are still a sinner damned to hell by your own actions without Christ. Get Christ. Get life. Get freedom.

But Reject Christ, stay dirty, stay condemned, go to hell.

Don't let that be you. Call for Him now. Jesus loved all sinners. "Homosexuals" are no more sinners than everyone else - but they are no less sinners either. If Jesus had met a "homosexual" in Scripture, He would have loved him/her. He would maybe even have hung out with him/her. But this love would not mean homosexuality was no longer a sin. He loved and hung out with wh*res and adulterers, too, not to mention tax collectors, violent men, and drunks. But when, for example, He rescued the adulteress from death in front of everyone (showing His love for EVERYONE), His words still showed that she was in SIN. He loved her while still being against the sin. He forgave her, telling her to GO AND SIN NO MORE! This forgiveness is also there for homosexual offenders. Forgiveness and love is in Christ...and in the cross.

In Christianity there are no Bible verses taken in context which show that homosexuality or any other sin for that matter, is not a sin. All people are welcomed by Jesus Christ on the condition of repentance of sin. He died to save people from their sin and sins, not to excuse or to pretend something is not a sin. Everyone is a sinner. Murder is a sin, as is stealing, pride, coveting and homosexuality etc etc . No-one is any more or less guilty. Nor is this being judgmental. This is what God says, not man.

The law of love also includes speaking the truth in love. It does not include the liberty to change what God says. People who are sinners, all people, not just homosexuals, need to know they are sinners in order to need Christ. Or else there was no need for the cross, since love is all we need, or something else, but not the cross. It is the cross of Calvary which demonstrates God's love but also that He takes sin seriously and had to turn away from His dear Son Jesus Christ, who said 'why have you forsaken me?'

According to Romans 1, part of the Christian New Testament, homosexuality is a sin and is a result of turning away from God, just as are many other sins:
