Isaiah was one of the main prophets during the time of the first Temple. Tradition has it that he was from the tribe of Judah, therefore, he would not have had any special priestly functions in the temple. But clearly as a main spiritual leadership figure at the time he would have participated in the normal temple activity as he was required to do.
