He did not believe God. The context was when Moses struck a rock when God had told him to speak to the rock (in order to bring forth water for the nation of Israel). Moses struck the rock because he was frustrated with the people constantly griping and complaining and he was getting tired of them. God consituted it a sin because Moses made the mistake of acting as if the people were offending him personally when it was God they were testing. Read Numbers 20:1-13

Did Moses sin when he killed the Egyptian?

Yes. In fact it is often used as an example of how man tries to fulfill God's plan for him in his own power and fails. Moses had to be humbled in the desert and learn to trust God before he could fulfill the plan to free his people from Egypt. Edit: Yes, if you kill someone, that is a sin. Even if that person deserved it.

Why did Satan try to take Moses bones?

Actually, Satan never tried to take Moses' BONES. Satan doesn't care about nobody's bone. He only uses a persons body to cause that particular body to do sin. Sin results to death, "the wages of sin is death". Now should anyone die, before his sins are sanctified (by accepting Christ as your Savior), your soul burns in hell forever and that is what Satan wants. It is his way of getting "even" with God, for he knows God wants us all saved. If you read Jude 1:9 you'll see about Satan wanting Moses...

What is sin against reason?

Sin against reason is a tent of believers in philosophia doctrine and has nothing to do with Sin as defined in Christian doctrine (sin against our Fathers law as given to Moses and proclaimed by his prophets as well as Christ and his apostles). Sin against reason is based in the use of dialectics by believers in philosophia doctrine, usually Stoic Philosophia doctrine. Believers base their belief of truth to be rooted in the logic and reason of dialectics.

Did Moses have suicide thoughts?

Moses offered to die on behalf of the wicked Israelites. This was a form of substitution, not suicide, although he was undoubtedly grieved at their sin. Certainly on a number of occasions Moses got frustrated, even angry at the Israelites, due to their wrong attitudes. It is doubtful that he sought this means of escape, although he certainly complained to God about them.
