Smith Wigglesworth prophesied that in the last days, there would be a significant movement of joyful intercession among believers. He envisioned that this intercession would be marked by a deep sense of joy and the power of the Holy Spirit, leading to transformative prayer that would impact both individuals and communities. Wigglesworth believed that this joyful intercession would unleash revival and bring forth a greater manifestation of God's presence and purpose in the world.
Smith Wigglesworth was a well known evangelist, often called the "Pioneer of Faith". He headed a major revival for the Pentecostals, a division of Christianity.

Yes, Smith Wigglesworth did claim to have raised his wife from the dead - three times in fact. A highly skilled evangelical healer and pioneer of the Pentecostal movement he believed that sickness was something that originated from the devil and that people didn't naturally become ill. He was apparently not too gentle when it came to the laying on of hands and was known to thump the affected part quite hard. Besides raising his wife from the dead - three times, he also claimed to have raised 14 others and cured hundreds, possibly thousands of others. He was even able to cure his own hemorrhoids but not, unfortunately, the kidney stones that plagued him. Smith Wigglesworth died in 1947 (aged 87) while apparently attending a funeral and is buried at Nab Wood Cemetery with his wife and daughter.
AND HE WAS NOT....FOR GOD TOOK HIMSeven days later, Smith Wigglesworth journeyed to a minister's funeral. Along the way, he commented to his friends how "wonderful" he felt. He pointed out the different landmarks where he and Polly had visited or preached, then would tell of the great miracles that had happened while there. When he arrived at the church, his son-in-law, James, opened the door and helped him into the vestry where a warm fire was burning. As he entered, he was met by the father of a young girl he had prayed for days earlier. The girl had been given up to die, but Smith had great faith for her healing. When he saw the man, he asked, "Well, how is she?" He was expecting to hear that the girl was completely delivered, but the answer came hesitantly. "She is a little better, a bit easier; her pains have not been quite so bad during the past few days." Disappointed by what he heard, Smith let out a deep compassionate sigh. Then his head bowed, and without another word or experiencing any pain, Smith Wigglesworth went home to be with the Lord. He left on March 12, 1947.

Pocahontas risked her life for Smith But that is just a story that john Smith told: On his way to one village, Smith said that he was captured by Powhatan Indian scouts. Their chief, also called Powhatan, thought that Smith must die. Smith described that Powhatan's men held his head against a rock. Smith saw them raise their weapons. Suddenly, the cheif's daughter, Pocahontas, rushed forward. She "got [my] head in her arms," Smith declared, "and laid her own upon [mine] to save [me] from death."
