When Jesus was born to the virgin Mary in Bethlehem it was called the INCARNATION. This was the voluntary act of the Son of God coming to earth and becoming Man. There were a few reasons for doing this, but the main and most important reason for Jesus to come to earth as a Man was to die for mankind's sin problem. Man was created to fellowship with God and to enjoy Him forever, but instead man sinned in the Garden of Eden. God spent many years preparing the human race for a Messiah to reconcile man back to Him. Finally about 2000 years ago the Son of God, Jesus the Christ came to earth and died for mankind's sin on the cross of Calvary. On the third day God the Father raised Jesus from the dead, accepting His sacrifice for mankind. This sacrifice for sins is not given to man automatically. A person, and individual, must accept Jesus as their sacrifice, their Savior to be brought back to God the father. John 14:6, tells us, " Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
The Incarnation.
they were called different names because God became human so He'd need a human name, also because God is a trinity ( The father , The Son , and The Holy Spirit)
Incarnation
The group that believes in the belief that Jesus was both human and divine is called Christians.
For Mark, Jesus was a human with divine powers, who became the Son of God when John baptised him. Jesus sought anonymity and often commanded those he healed to tell no one about him.
Jesus was not God in human form. Jesus proclaimed himself as SON of God and God is described as Jesus' heavenly father. It is not in my understanding that they ever called Jesus himself God.
Christianity worships God and Jesus, God sent Jesus down to spread the message and that's how it started and why he's the founder.
Jesus selected the group of 12 who became what was called his Disciples. After his death and resurrection, the 12 Disciples became the Apostles or founders of the churches.
Catholics say that a miraculous, unexplainable process called the Incarnation put the physical baby Jesus in Saint Mary's womb.
The concept of Jesus Christ as the Word of God was developed by the author of John's Gospel.
The Bible said that Jesus was born as a baby to a human, telling us that he was, in fact, human.
According to the Christian scriptures, he was a fisherman, until Jesus called him to follow. He then became an apostle/disciple of Jesus and started to spread the Gospel. He was known to deny that he knew Jesus when the authorities wanted to stop Jesus and the new teachings. He later on became a martyr. The Catholics believe he was the first Pope. He is known more familiarly as "Saint Peter".
