Speaking for Jehovah's Witnesses as Christians; we actually call it a 'com-mission'; or a 'mandate' from Christ Jesus. Our mission is found in Matthew 28:19:20, to witt: "All authority has been given Christ Jesus; THEREFORE - - GO - - Go make disciples of people of all nations; Baptize them; TEACH them all the commands of Jesus." Jesus and the early Christians actually did this, by their house-to-house ministry. There are other mandates also, but the above is Christians MAIN commission. This is the mission of Jehovah's Witnesses as Christians.
