Muhammad's first job was in the service of his first wife Khadijah, who was a businesswoman. Muhammad functioned more or less as an accountant/banker, monitoring funds given to Khadijah and holding funds for fellow Arabs for later withdrawal.
It was only at the age of 40 that Muhammad had his first experience of divine revelation and became a "career prophet".
He was Shepherd
His first job was shepherd. Second job was trading. On top of all, he is the Islamic religion prophet per God revelation of Quran to him.
His wife Khadijah
he used to care the herd. To the best of my knowledge, the prophet's first job was as a shepherd who looked after the sheep He said " every prophet worked as a shepherd......". This is because taking care of the sheep develops the ability to take care of the humans afterwards. Regards
