Though there were MANY important teachings promoted by Jesus, looking at what Jesus considered most important might help to answer your question. The first thing that comes to mind is Jesus' 'model prayer' (sometimes called the Lord's Prayer)at Matthew 6:9+10, where he was setting the example of how to pray, and things one should pray for. The FIRST TWO things he prayed for were:
"...Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name...
...Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven". So:
**Jesus taught that his father has a NAME, and it needs to be 'hallowed' or (sanctified / held HOLY) (John 5:43) At Isaiah 64:8 the American Standard Version says: "But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand." and Jesus makes it clear that this God is his father(John 8:54)(Psalm 83:18)
**It's God's purpose to use his KINGDOM to carry out his 'will' toward the earth(Isaiah 9:6+7 / Daniel 2:44). The Kingdom, in the hands of his son, Jesus (Luke 1:32-33), is God's means of correcting all problems here on earth(Psalm 46:9; Psalm 72:12-16; Isaiah 25:8; Isaiah 33:24), so knowledge of what it is and what it will do is a vital teaching(Acts 1:3)(1 Corinthians 15:24-28 / Revelation 11:15)(Matthew 6:33).
** Because of this, Jesus preached, and taught his followers to PREACH about ' the Kingdom'(Luke 4:43)(Matthew 9:35)(Matthew 24:14)(Matthew 28:19+20 /Acts 8:12 /Acts 28:23)
**Another teaching which is of vital importance, is Jesus' statement at John 13:35 which points out the identifying mark of true Christians: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."(NIV) LOVE among true Christians would be obvious and outstanding. Since obedience to Jesus' father was of primary importance (Matthew 7:21-23), and God's primary quality is LOVE (1 John 4:8), showing love to one another in all things is a Christian requirement (Romans 13:8-10) (Colossians 3:5-17) .

Perhaps the core teaching of Jesus Christ was His 'Sermon on the Mount' which can be read in Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7.
According to Jesus' teachings, the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
The teachings of Jesus ARE Christ's message because he was Jesus Christ. Christ and Jesus are the same person.
Jesus sent his disciples out to spread his teachings to all nations.
The Bible is where the written teachings of Jesus are kept.
Yes, as interpreted by his Disciples. It is also based on the teachings of the Hebrew religion as it existed at the time of Caesar Augustus and Jesus.
Jesus and his teachings are primarily found in the 4 Gospels in the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John and in Revelation. Jesus and his teachings are used as a basis for the writings of the remainder of the New Testament.
The teachings that came from religion and not the Bible.
Jesus isnt real.
True Teachings of Jesus Christ
The teachings of Jesus Christ, hence the name.
As long as you try to follow the teachings that you learn from the words of Jesus which are not necessarily those of the church you should be fine.
From the teachings of Jesus.
