The printing revolution was very significant in Europe. It was a lot easier and cheaper way to produce books opposed to hand-copied works. With books more accessible from the revolution, civilians were able to learn how to READ and allowed access to the knowledge of medicine, law, astrology, and mining. The printed books exposed Europeans to new ideas expanding their horizons.
