What were 3 main rooms in Solomons Temple?

Two rooms and an open portico. The inner room was the Holy of Holies, housing the Ark of the Covenant. The outer sanctum housed the Table of the Show-bread, the Menorah (candelabrum), and the small Golden Altar.

I THINK, though I'm not sure, they were;

1) The worship area for people who lived close enough to it who wished to observe the sabath in the temple itself. In ancient Israel, the sabath was not overseen by Rabbis, it was overseen by the head of a household. The whole Synagogue tradition only began after the second temple, Herod's temple, was destroyed by the Romans. With the help of an earthquake, if I recall.

2) The holy of holies which I believe only the priests could enter, which also served as a library and study area and finally.

3) The Ark chamber itself, the inner sanctum of which the walls were completely laced with gold leaf.

Not too sure though; 2 and 3 could be the same place.
