In the synoptic gospels, the associates and friends of Jesus were generally poor people, often fishermen. Mark, in particular, describes the disciples as confused and lacking in understanding.
In John's Gospel, they were mainly the rich and powerful in Jewish society - for example (chapter 3) Nicodemus, "a ruler of the Jews"; the nobleman who sought the help of Jesus for his son(chapter 4); Mary, Martha and Lazarus, who were clearly close friends of Jesus.

Jesus frequently mixed with sinners, and when He did, He invariably changed the lives of those people. Witness what happened after Jesus mixed with the Samaritan woman who's had five husbands (John 4:28-30, 39), the tax collector Matthew (Matthew 9:9) and the tax collector Zaccheus (Luke 19:1-10).
Jesus never meet a kind of person, according to Jesus everyone was the same on planet earth, except His mother.Jesus, as one may say, mixed with anyone; even those who despised him.

Mary the mother of Jesus Christ was a Jewish woman, and no different looking than any other Jewish woman of her time. Since she was Semitic, she no doubt had olive colored skin and brown eyes and hair.

Jesus had dealings with many different types of people. Many of His encounters with people are recorded in the Gospels. He was particularly friendly with people who needed Him - people who knew they were sinners and who were outcasts from the society of His day. This drew criticism from the proud religious leaders of His day.
