If you are speaking of the resurrection/rapture a person's body will be change before they enter heaven. This new body will be made to last an eternity and will be in appearance to your old physical body in that you will be recognizable to other persons.
If a person should die today their physical body goes into the grave here on earth and their soul goes to heaven. Some people believe that when you get to heaven you will have a temporary body until the resurrection when you'll get your permanent body. I personally do not know if we will get temporary bodies.
