The soul consists of the mind, the emotions, and the will. All men have souls and we use some part of the soul everyday.

The spirit is the immortal part of man. When the body dies the spirit lives on eternally.

Christians believe that the spirit goes to be with God when they die and on the Day of Resurrection that spirit will be rejoined to the new body given to them at that time, one that is suited to heaven and eternity.

If an unbeliever dies their spirit is still alive also but it will not go to be with God. When the resurrection of the dead occurs ( I believe they will also receive a body of sorts) that spirit will go to the White Throne Judgment and after the judgment they will go to the Lake of Fire.

Personally I do not believe in ghosts and so I have no comment of them if they do exist.

A spirit is the non-physical part of a person, usually associated with being the part that lives on after a physical entity dies, which controls them while they are still alive. A demon, in its strictest definition, is simply a supernatural being that is not human, but current colloquialisms define the term as an evil spirit.
