Simon of Cyrene was the man who helped Jesus carry his cross.

As Jesus fell several times on the way to Calvary as he was exhausted , it was then that the roman soldier told Simon to carry it.
It was a passer by named Joseph.
There is no historical record indicating that Simon of Cyrene died in the same place as Jesus. Simon of Cyrene is known for helping Jesus carry the cross to Golgotha, but there is no further mention of him in relation to Jesus' crucifixion.
And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
Simon the Cyrenean was the man compelled by the Romans to carry the cross of Jesus as Jesus was taken to his crucifixion, according to all three Synoptic Gospels
Although it is not written from whom Jesus received the cross, it is written that a man called Simon from Cyrene was compelled to carry Jesus' cross just after they came out from the judgement hall, (Matthew 27.32)
Simon of Cyrene is thought to be black. He carried Jesus' cross.
Matthew 27:32 tells us that a man of Cyrene, Simon by name helped Jesus carry the cross to Calvary.
He denied Jesus, because he was scared. Simon Peter did not betray Jesus, and S. P. would later die on a cross because of his belief in Jesus Christ.
