It would be rather naive to believe that either heaven or hell, if indeed they do exist, would have or need keys. Against whom would hell be locked?

What is chapter and verse that Jesus descended to take keys of hell?

The Bible does not explicitly state that Jesus descended to take the keys of hell. This belief is based on interpretations of passages like Revelation 1:18, where Jesus says he holds the keys of death and Hades. Additionally, 1 Peter 3:19-20 and Ephesians 4:8-10 are sometimes referenced in support of this interpretation.

Where did Satan get the keys?

According to Christian tradition, the keys of hell are believed to be in the possession of Jesus Christ, not Satan. The New Testament states that Jesus has the keys of death and Hades (hell), which symbolize his power and authority over these realms.

Where in the Bible does it talk about the keys of hell?

I don't know about "keys", but there is a passage in Matthew where Jesus tells Peter that He will build His church, and the GATES of hell (Hades) will not overcome it. Jesus then goes on to say that He will give the keys to the kingdom of Heaven, and whatever is bound on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever is loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:17-20) God bless! ANSWER: Christ has the keys of hell (Revelation 1:18). The Greek word is Hades. Take away the Pagan Greek philosophical meanings attached to the word and you realize it is simply the grave. Christ has the keys to the grave because he is the only one through whom salvation (and therefore eternal life) is available (Acts 4:10-12).

How did Jesus come to life?

After Jesus' death he went directly to Hades. He preached to all the people in the prisons and dungeons. After he preached for 3 days, God came down to Hell and stole the keys of death from Satan. He gave the keys to Jesus and Jesus got out of Hell and God restored His spirit so that Jesus could come back to life.If you mean how did Jesus rise from the dead three days after easter, then the answer is God did it. He can do anything. He made you an me and well........ everything. If he can make everything, he can do anything.

What did Jesus take to hell when they buried him?

Jesus went to heaven after coming back from the dead and showing his diciples to continue to preach for him. JESUS WENT TO HEAVEN.The Orthodox position:Jesus descended into Hades (or hell) after His death, but before He ascended into Heaven. This was done in order to break the bonds of Satan and death, since Jesus has the keys to Hades (Revelation 1:18). This event caused the earth to quake and the graves to open and many people who had died were raised from the dead (Matthew 27:51-54).Icons of the Resurrection or Descent into Hades, depict Jesus taking the keys to Hades with Him to show that He has power over Satan and power over the living and the dead.

Who saw Jesus last?

It was probably John Revelation 1: 17 And when I saw him, I [John] fell at his [Jesus'] feet as dead. And he [Jesus'] laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I [Jesus'] am the first and the last: 18 I [Jesus'] am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I [Jesus'] am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Did Jesus visit Hell after his crusifictionand?

Jesus didn't visit hell because he has no right. Jesus is perfect and sinless so he can't go to hell. And anyway, who ever goes to hell can never come out and will have to die forever.

Did Christ go to Hell to get the keys to death and Hades?

Revelation 1:18 reads: "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." The Bible nowhere says that Jesus had to retrieve the "keys" of Hades and Death from Hell or that they were under the control of Satan. There were some early Christians who took that position, which is growing in popularity among some Christian groups today; but it is mere speculation.
