A dispensation refers to the act of distributing or providing something, often in a systematic or organized way. It can also refer to an exemption or release from a rule, obligation, or law. In a religious context, dispensation can refer to the granting of a specific permission or privilege.
Church law requires Catholics to be married in the presence of a priest and two witnesses in order for the marriage to be valid. This is called "the canonical form of marriage". Catholics may receive a dispensation from their bishop from the canonical form. Without the dispensation, a marriage in any other form for Catholics would be considered invalid under Church law.
The word "law" appears in 459 verses of the KJV bible.

Through the ages, God has revealed more and more of Himself to more and more of humanity. In the earlier ages, God told individuals WHAT to do. In the Mosaic age, His laws told the Israelites HOW He wanted things done. Ultimately, in the Christian age, He has revealed to anyone who desires to know the WHY behind it all (2 Corinthians 4:6).Alternatively:There could be many answers to this question.
