Through use, our 'perceptive powers' will be trained(Hebrews 5:14)and our 'Christian personality' will become part of our nature (Ephesians 4:22-24)(Romans 5:1-5) so we can "put up' with problems with PEACE of mind, hardships with JOY, one another with LOVE, forgiving one another with KINDNESS(Ephesians 4:2)(Romans 12:9+10), enduring ongoing difficulties with FORBEARANCE, helping others with GENTLENESS, living our lives with SELF CONTROL, no matter what happens (2 Corinthians 6:3-10)(Ephesians 3:14-19). Holy spirit helps us to keep our minds and hearts clean and separate from the debased thinking of the world around us(Romans 8:2-10; Galatians 5:16-25). But the FIRST aspect of holy spirit is LOVE. Without LOVE, we will not survive (1 Corinthians 13:1-8).
