The gospels do not actually say how long the mission of Jesus lasted. However, scholars point out that the events described in the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) could have been accomplished in a few weeks. There is no mention of the Passover from the beginning of his mission until the final journey to Jerusalem and for these reasons they believe that his entire mission, at least in the synoptic gospels, appears to have taken no more than a year.
On the other hand, John's Gospel, by its references to the Passover (John 2:13, 6:4, 11:55, 12:1, 13:1), indicates that, for its author, the mission of Jesus lasted three years.
The bible does not say much about Jesus childhood , till he was 12 years old.
No one is sure as the Bible just doesn't say. But if we agree with some scholars that Jesus died in April 31 AD and His ministry was 3 1/2 years long or 4 Passovers - the last He died on, then He began His ministry at about 30 years of age. This would make it circa 27-28 AD.
The bible does not say anything about dreaming for Jesus.
Jesus began His ministry when 30 years of age. It lasted 3 1/2 years or 4 Passovers - being crucified on the 4th. His age then was 33-34 years old:Luke 3:23King James Version (KJV) 23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
In the Bible, it is mentioned that Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness before beginning his ministry. This act of fasting is seen as a way for Jesus to prepare himself spiritually and strengthen his connection with God.
The Bible mentions that Jesus was a carpenter by trade before he began his ministry. In the Gospel of Mark 6:3, people in Jesus' hometown refer to him as a carpenter, highlighting his occupation before he started preaching. This aspect of Jesus' life is often seen as a reflection of his humility and connection to the common people.
77 is it?
The only indirect indication in the Bible of how old Jesus was is in John 8:57, "Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?"A:There is a verse in Luke 3:23 "And Jesus himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli" That refers to the beginning of Jesus' public ministry, that from the gospel accounts seem to have lasted 3 years, which means Jesus was about thirty three years old at the time of his crucifixion, give or take a few years.
The Bible does not say this, but most Christians presume it is so, because there were no Scriptures written for about 400 years after the book of Malachi and until the birth of Jesus Christ.
Jesus' age is only mentioned in the Bible once - in the Gospel of Luke, it tells the story of Jesus' parents losing him during the Passover festival to find him in the Temple in Jerusalem. The tradition is that Jesus was 30 years old when he was baptised and 33 years old when he was crucified, but this is not based on any clear passage in the Bible.Answer:Twice. Luke 2:42 - And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast.Luke 3:23a - Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age...[NKJV]
30 years old. Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, The person above me said that Jesus was 30, but I think that he was 12, because when he was 12, Mary and Joseph left him at a temple and he taught all the other priests.
