It doesn't.
Nowhere in scripture is the physical appearance of Jesus mentioned at all.
No one really knows but he is described with long hair and a beard.
There is a reference found in Revelation 2:18
The description of skin like bronze and hair like wool is found in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Bible. Specifically, Revelation 1:14-15 describes the figure of Jesus Christ with hair as white as wool and feet like bronze. This imagery is often interpreted symbolically, reflecting divinity and strength.
The Book of Revelation does not explicitly state that Jesus was black; however, it contains symbolic imagery that has led to various interpretations. Revelation 1:14-15 describes Jesus with features like "hair like wool" and "feet like burnished bronze," which some interpret as indicative of African descent. Additionally, the broader context of the Bible emphasizes that Jesus's message transcends racial and ethnic boundaries, focusing instead on spiritual unity. Interpretations about Jesus's race often reflect cultural, historical, and theological perspectives rather than definitive statements.
There is no mention in the bible if whether Jesus' hair was long or short. We assume that his hair was long due to where we read about other men in the bible, during that time period, who had long hair. However, John in Revelation 1:14 saw Jesus as, "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow;...". Jesus DID have His say about long hair on men when He inspired I Cor 11:14, "nature itself teaches you that if a man has long hair it is a shame to him". We know that our Lord Jesus Christ had NO shame. What He had was white as wool and snow - mine is white but with some darker in it. That's as close as I can get to being just like Jesus! He was NOT a Nazarite which had vows including long hair and not touching dead bodies which He did to raise them from the dead. Jesus was raised in Nazareth making Him a Nazarene without that Old Testament vow. Jesus had to be identified by Judas and was paid to do it! He looked like any other ordinary disciple and man of that time. Did you ever notice that in drawings the disciples and other men have relatively short hair and Jesus has long?
No, they would not be offended. They believe in Jesus and you can do whatever you want with your hair. There are others that don't cut their hair either, like Sikhs.No, they would not be offended. No one knows what Jesus looked like, nor did he write any of the Christian bible.
In the King James version this is part of the Book of Revelations - It is a 'vision' and so it does not refer to Jesus when he was on Earth. * Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Well, the Bible doesn't talk much about Joseph and Jesus' relationship. But the Bible does say Jesus was a joy to his parents because, of course, he never sinned.
Jesus used to worship god but people worship jesus and say that he is God and say that he is dead..
