Where does the bible say John is the brother of Jesus?

Jesus brothers were James, Joseph Jr., Simon, and Judas. No John. (reference Matthew 13:55 and Mark 6:3.)

There was an entirely different James who was a fisherman - his brother was named John.

If you mean John the Baptist, they were 2nd cousins (found in Luke 1).

If you're talking about John the Apostle, in John 19, when Jesus was on the cross, "he saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved (John) standing nearby, he said to his mother, 'Dear woman, here is your son,' and to the disciple, 'Here is your mother.' From that time on, this disciple took her into his home."He was not saying that they were really mother and son. He was telling John to take his place in taking care of his mother.
