In the first chapter.
Luke 1:36 (6 months).
Six (6) months (Luke 1:36)According to Luke 1:36, Elizabeth was six months pregnant with John when Jesus was conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit, so John would have been six months old when Jesus was born.
At that time Jesus was 30 years old.
John (the Baptist). Luke 1:60
John the Baptist was approximately six months older than Jesus.A:Luke 1:36 says that Elizabeth, mother of John, was six months pregnant when the angel came to Mary. If this was when Mary conceived, then John was about six months older than Jesus. However, the story of Elizabeth and Zacharias appears only in Luke's Gospel, with some puzzling aspects if it is to be considered historical. Scholars such as Uta Ranke-Heinemann (Putting Away Childish Things) believe that Elizabeth and Zechariah were literary creations by the gospel author, purely to create a close family relationship between Jesus and the popular Jewish preacher, John the Baptist. On this view, we do not know who John's parents were or how old he was.
John
A:According to Luke's Gospel, Jesus was related to John the Baptist. His mother Mary was the cousin of John's mother Elizabeth. There are several reasons to doubt this, including that John's Gospel says that the Baptist did not even know Jesus.
Matthew, Mark, and John for sure wrote about Him. Then Luke was believed to be written by Luke but told by Simon (Peter) because Simon was illiterate. In Luke it talks about experience about Simon with Jesus many times which hints that Simon wrote it. And John talks about the experience he had with Jesus many times in his book John.
The four gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
John the Baptist prepared the way for the teaching of Jesus and died a martyr for his faith. Jesus said of John the Baptist in Luke 7:28 - "I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John". It was Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus (see Luke chapter 22).
He started preaching between the time he learned to speak and the time he was murdered. The Bible does not mention his age. Possibly his age, height, weight, hair color were not the characteristics that were important to the Biblical story.
In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
