James 2:18 - But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works."
James 2:24 - You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
James 2:26 - For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
[Quotes from NKJV]
The word saved is recorded 104 times in the entire Bible out of 104 verses; and save 233 times out of 226 verses. This gives us a total of 337 times out of 330 verses.Grafton Haynes
Christianity. Various denominations within the Kingdom will argue about what it takes, exactly-word for word to be saved. James argues " What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can faith save him?" The answer is no. " As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." When James says a person is not justified by faith alone, he means that a person is not justified by mental assent alone. As such, he says, " Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that and shudder."
James 2:24-26 tells us that "...a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone... As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."(NIV)Additional Comment:James 2:18-19New International Version (NIV) 18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds."Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder.Even Satan and his demons believe in the God Family, yet they constantly commit evil acts or cause mankind to do so. So our works are the natural outcome of God's Holy Spirit within us - we are doing His work and not the work of any Law as Paul addressed in many letters. No work or no Law can save us. Only by God's Grace through faith of Jesus are we saved. Yet, God has a Plan and desires workman to help achieve its ends. These are His good works.
Martin Luther was born in 1483 and he died in 1546. Luther was a German priest and he believed that salvation is not earned by good deeds but received only as a free gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus as redeemer from sin.
This question could be taken in many ways, but I think the most important thing to realize about Christianity is the necessity of faith AND works. As the Bible tells us that faith without works is a dead faith which will not save us. And that all the great figures of the Bible were saved by their works. Read the letter of St. James, and the letter to the Hebrews.
the heroic deeds of Andres Bonifacio is when he fight to Spanish and American to save his countrymen.

Please see James 2:14, which clearly states that believers should care for the physical needs of others as evidence of their faith:14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.Note that we can never be justified by faith - there is no way to work our way into heaven. However, caring for others is a natural outpouring and evidence that we do have faith.
Absolutely!
Proverbs 3:27 says: "Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it."Another scriptural support for this principle is found at James 2:14-17, where it says:"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead"(NIV).
John 3:16-18 in the Roman Catholic Bible speaks about God's love for the world by sending His only Son, Jesus, to save humanity. It emphasizes the importance of belief in Jesus as the path to eternal life and the consequences of rejecting Him, leading to condemnation. This passage highlights the central message of Christianity – salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
many people have faith and rely on it to live and save themselves
