I don't believe Lot was ever told to leave his family. Abram was told to "leave your country, your people and your father's house" and given the promises in Genesis 12. He left his country and people but in taking Lot he had not yet left his father's house. After Abram and Lot separate the promises are confirmed and elaborated on in Genesis 15.
Although lot was a righteous man (2Pet 2:8) and his descendants were great nations (Moab and Ammon - Gen 19:36-38), he was not given direct promises from God as far as we are aware. Moab and Ammon do not directly exist today, unlike the people of Israel.
Genesis 8:15-17 tells us that it was GOD who told Noah and his family to leave the ark.
To Canaan But.... The Hebrew Bible says that God spoke to Abraham and told him to leave his homeland and resettle in a new land. According to the Hebrew Bible, when he arrived in this new land, Canaan(KAY nuhn), God told Abraham: "The whole land of Canaan ... I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God."
The Bible was inspired by God and was written by forty people as God told them what to wright.
No, I don't believe he was, it was God who called him to leave his family. This is what I believe is stated in the Bible. It does not state that he moved about before God called him.
To my knowledge, God never told us to be like Him. He told us to obey Him.
Idk but my family told me that the devil was an angel that tried to rule heaven but god sent him to hell
no jesus told the apostals
the peorson who inspired the bible is god because god told all the people who wrote it what to say and stuff like that

God told Abraham to leave Ur and go to a new land.
god told Moses to leave Egypt to go to his father for advice
Christians believe the Holy Bible is God's word to mankind and Jesus told us to 'live by every word of God.'
