It was located about 20 mile northwest of Beer-sheba.
19 miles or about 30 kilometers.

Gerar, an ancient city mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, was significant for its strategic location in the region of the Philistines, serving as a center of trade and interaction between different cultures. It is notably associated with biblical figures such as Abraham and Isaac, who sought refuge there during times of famine, highlighting its role as a place of sustenance and diplomacy. The interactions in Gerar also illustrate themes of faith, conflict, and the covenant between God and the patriarchs. Its archaeological remains contribute to our understanding of ancient Near Eastern societies.
Egypt Genesis 12 v6-20. Gerar in southern Canaan Genesis 20 v1-2.
The first time the word "prophet" is used in the Bible is Genesis 20:7 where in a dream, God tells the King of Gerar that Abraham is a prophet.

----------------------- Genesis gives two parallel stories of Abraham where he got tangled up in his deviousness. First he told the Pharaoh that his wife Sarah was his sister, for fear that the Pharaoh would kill him in order to have sex with her (Genesis 12:13), only to be found out and banished from Egypt. Later (Genesis 20:2), for the same reason, he told the king of Gerar that his by now quite elderly wife (Sarah was now over 90 years old and stricken with age) really was his sister. Just as Abraham tried to pass Sarah off as his sister while visiting the palace of Abimelech king of Gerar, so did Isaac, his son, try to pass his wife Rebekah off as his sister to the same king, once again for fear that the king would kill him in order to have sex with her (Genesis 26:6-11). It should be questioned why Abraham and Isaac believed that Egyptians and Gerarites would only attempt to have sex with a woman after killing her husband, and why they would not kill her brother in order to achieve the same ends. It must also have been remarkable that the king and the citizens of Gerar never suspected, nor became annoyed with the Abraham family after two failed attempts to deceive them.

with a few small mods (jetting, airbox mod, exhaust mod) you can get this thing to 50mph pretty easily. stock id say around 45-47 mph. the 5th gear is pretty good for high speed on this lil bike. if you include hot cams, different sprocket sizes, bigger performance carb, serious modding stuff like that i wouldnt be suprised if the lil machine could go 54-57mph
Abraham told the Pharaoh that his wife Sarah was his sister, for fear that the Pharaoh would kill him in order to have sex with her (Genesis 12:13), only to be found out and banished from Egypt. Later, for the same reason, he told Abimelech, king of Gerar, that his by now quite elderly wife (Sarah was now over 90 years old and stricken with age) really was his sister. Just as Abraham tried to pass Sarah off as his sister while visiting Abimelech in Gerar, so did Isaac, his son, try to pass his wife Rebekah off as his sister to the same king, once again for fear that the king would kill him in order to have sex with her. It should be questioned why Abraham and Isaac believed that Egyptians and Gerarites would only attempt to have sex with a woman after killing her husband, and why they would not kill her brother in order to achieve the same ends, but the Book of Genesis describes this as a successful ruse, at least for a while.
