Christianity is a monotheistic religion centered around the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, who is considered the Son of God. Its followers, known as Christians, believe in the Holy Trinity of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and adhere to the teachings of the Bible.
Nazareth is special to Christians because Jesus spent most of his life there and Joseph (his father) was born there.
When Jesus returned to Nazareth, the people there did not believe in him and rejected his teachings because they saw him as just a carpenter's son.

Christianity. Christianity is centered around the life and death of Jesus of Nazareth
A:It is very possible that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified, after all the Romans crucified many thousands in first-century Palestine. Crucifixion was not uncommon and would not, by itself, make Jesus special. Jesus of Nazareth was not crucified if he did not exist, and there are many hypotheses as to the background of the Jesus story, including that the story was based around the second-century-BCE Teacher of Righteousness mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls or that the pre-gospel Jesus was purely spiritual, crucified in heaven (as various Near Eastern gods were).
Christians believe that Jesus grew up in Nazareth.
Because Jesus was the Christ, Christianity is the faith that purportedly follows the teachings of Jesus. However, most Christian religions following the teachings of the epistle writer Paul instead. For example, Jesus says in the Bible "I am not here to start a new religion but to bring a new covenant." The fact that there are religions that follow the teachings of Jesus is in direct contradiction to his own words.
Jews are not Christians. Christians believe that Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah. Jews (and remember- Jesus was a Jew himself) believe that the Messiah has not yet come.
