James John and Peter
MAR 9:2 ¶ And six days later, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John, and brought them up to a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them;Answer/There were three Apostles with Jesus during the transfiguration - Peter and the sons of Zebedee, being John and James.
Peter, James, and John were the three apostles chosen by Jesus to lead special events such as the Transfiguration and the raising of Jairus' daughter.
On the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus was "transfigured," meaning that he was seen by the Apostles Peter, James and John in his glorified form, bright as the sun in blazingly white clothes. In this form, he spoke with Moses and Elijah, who also appeared there with Jesus. See Luke 9:28-36.
A:Yes, he appears in the story of the Transfiguration of Jesus. Although neither Jesus nor Moses introduced him to the apostles present, they somehow simply knew that he was one of the two strangers talking to Jesus, and the other stranger was Elijah.
Jesus was accompanied by his disciples Peter, James, and John on the Mount of Transfiguration.
Jesus,Paul(Saul),and the other apostles of Jesus
Jesus had 12 apostles.
James the Greater, also known as James the son of Zebedee, was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. He was part of Jesus' inner circle along with Peter and John, and was present at significant events such as the Transfiguration and the Agony in the Garden. James the Greater was the first apostle to be martyred for his faith, being executed by King Herod Agrippa I in AD 44.
Jesus passed the bread to the Apostles sitting close to him, who inturn passed to the other Apostles.
Jesus and Peter had a close relationship, with Peter being one of Jesus' original twelve disciples. Peter was often seen as a leader among the disciples and was known for his loyalty to Jesus, although he also famously denied knowing Jesus three times before the crucifixion. Jesus affirmed Peter as the rock on which he would build his church, showing the significance of their relationship in Christian tradition.
Peter was appointed by Jesus to be the leader of the Apostles!!!
