That is mainly the Catholic church, the largest Christian denomination. Other Christian churches do allow their priests or preachers to marry, though.
It depends on which religion you are referring to. Some allow it, some do not.
Episcopal priests are allowed to marry; I have no problem with that. Perhaps the Catholic Church could allow some priests to marry--I'm not convinced that it is a bad thing. I don't make these decisions, however.

There are some communities where to marry, your religion matters. For example if a Muslim guy although can not marry to a Christian girl according to their religion, but he marries over-crossing his religion, its his own problem.
