No religion has ever "commanded their respect". Religions are respected as part of individual rights that each person is allowed to have by grace of God or the inherent humanity in all people.
Muslims are specifically commanded to respect Judaism, Christianity, and Sabeanism. (Since Sabeans are relatively rare today, most people do not mention them.)
muslim people respect all the religions of the world
Muslims do not celebrate Passover; Jews do. Regardless, Passover does not command any person to respect any religion; it is a story about how the Israelites escaped Ancient Egypt through an act of Divine Deliverance.
Every Religion Has To Respect Their Religion
Respect is earned not commanded. Will you respect your father if he is a drunkard, womanizer, and neglect to support his family? I'm talking as a father.
The understanding of Muslims on this point seems to be diverse. There are those who would teach that Muslims are to respect all religions - and there are many who do. However, there are teachings in the Qur'an that some interpret to mean Muslims are to dominate unbelievers - and some extremists have extended this to the idea of world domination.
I am not positive but I think it is to teach you to have respect for other religions
The last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). In fact, it is Almighty Allah who has several times commanded people to respect their parents. The holy Prophet (SAW) also commanded the Muslims to respect their parents even if they are Non-believers.
Respect everyone
give respect
I honestly think you should; all religions deserve respect even if you are not part of that religion. If you are atheist the religion may not be something you really care about but if you have friends or family that is part of a church you should respect that.
Yes. The Muslims respect all humans irrespective of their caste, color or religion.
