The sacrament of marriage.
That Sacrament and Church are Gifts to us from God.
Reconciles the sinner with his/her God.
Catholics have sacraments: Baptism: The sacrament that makes people Catholic Reconciliation: The sacrament in which Catholics confess their sins and are forgiven by God Holy Eucharist: In which Catholics consume the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ under the appearances of bread and wine at the Mass. Confirmation: The sacrament that increases and strengthens the grace received at Baptism and makes catholics soldiers of Christ Marriage: The sacrament in which a man and a woman are joined in matrimony. Holy Orders: The sacrament in which a person is made a priest, nun, or religious brother Anointing of the Sick: Grace given to sick people from God to prepare them for heaven
It is a sacrament... I guess you could call it a tradition, but it should be mentioned that it is a sacrament, and it was a rule instated by God.
The sacrament of anointing of the sick celebrates gods healing.
You don't need a sacrament just a true belief and trust in God. You must be able to let God control your life, not you.
In The Christian sacrament, By William A. Van Roo, he calls the Church the "prime sacrament", and quotes E Schillebeeckx, O.P. from his book, Christ, the Sacrament of the Encounter with God, that Christ is the prime Sacrament. These views can be reconciled in that the Church is the Mystical Body of Christ.

Roman Catholic AnswerOur Blessed Lord instituted the sacrament of Penance for all sinful members of His Church. Only God forgives sins. By Our Blessed Lord, since He is the Son of God says of Himself that He has this divine power (Mk 2:5, 10; Lk 7:48) and by His Divine Authority, He gives this power to men to exercise in His name. (Cf. Jn 20:21-23) So, it is His priests who administer this sacrament in His name.
