Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus was a perfect human being on Earth, but that He wasn't divine. Unitarians believe that Jesus is the exemplary example of how human beings should live their lives. They believe He was an exemplary man filled with divine inspiration. They do not believe He performed miracles. For more information, please refer to the 'Related Links' below. Also, Muslims believe that Jesus was a wonderful Prophet, but did not have divinity--as that would go against the strict Monotheism that Muslims and Jews believe. They believe he was born of a virgin, spoke in the cradle, performed miracles... and it appeared that he was crucified, although God substituted Judas in his place. (Looked like Jesus though.) They also believe that Jesus will come back in the end of days. If you are a follower of may of the sects o fChristianity, this is what you would believe. However the United Church of Canada has taken a contrary position on this topic. (Link)
They didn't. Jews have always believed that Jesus was a regular human being, not divine and not a prophet.

The other Cyclopes did not help Polyphemus because they believed he was merely suffering from a divine punishment. When he called for assistance after Odysseus blinded him, they thought he was being tormented by the gods, as he claimed that "nobody" was attacking him. Additionally, the Cyclopes valued their independence and were not inclined to interfere in each other's affairs, especially when it involved a conflict with a powerful figure like Odysseus.
One moral lesson in the story of Apollo and Cassandra is the consequences of not being believed when speaking the truth. Cassandra's curse of never being believed despite being truthful teaches us about the importance of being honest and the ramifications of ignoring warning signs or advice. Additionally, the story highlights the theme of divine punishment for arrogance and disrespect towards the gods.
The Ancient Greeks put stock in various divine beings and goddesses. The Greeks accepted that these divine beings and goddesses controlled everything in their lives and the climate. There was a divine being for each part of their lives. So god is a great being.
