Jesus had his twelve close disciples called the Twelve Apostles, who carried the message further. but it was John the Baptizer who was sent as a forerunner to prepare the way for Jesus' introduction as the promised Messiah.
The twelve disciples and all who believe their message. That means you and me if we believe in Jesus.
The twelve disciples were followers of Jesus who played a key role in spreading his teachings and message. They were chosen by Jesus to be his closest companions and to help him in his ministry. They traveled with him, witnessed his miracles, and helped spread his message of love and salvation to others.
Apostle literally means, one sent forth with a message. Jesus' 12 disciples, in Matthew 10 were sent forth by Jesus as apostles carrying the message of Jesus. For quite awhile they were the only apostles carrying this message, as the church was just beginning. Note that Jesus himself was also called an apostle, in Hebrews 3. He was "sent forth" by God, with a message and purpose.
The people who spread Jesus' message were known as the apostles, particularly the twelve disciples chosen by Jesus during his ministry. After his resurrection, they became key figures in the early Christian church, spreading his teachings throughout the Roman Empire. Additionally, early followers and missionaries, such as Paul of Tarsus, played significant roles in disseminating the message of Christianity beyond Jewish communities.
we, christians, are Jesus' disciples, we are supposed to share our faith and tell everyone about the gospel.
The twelve who travelled with Jesus were his disciples humble fishermen.
There is a lot of church sponsored humanitarian work--for example, Habitat for Humanity. Showing love for people all over the world is the essence of Jesus' message, as far as I'm concerned.
In a single word, 'Love.'

Either they do not trust your message or they do not trust Jesus'.
Jesus himself had little or no impact on the Romans. He had very little contact with them in his lifetime. In fact, the Romans did not even know who he was, as they had to have someone (Judas) point him out before they could arrest him.
