The tribe of Levi had all the service of the Tabernacle/Temple. They were divided into classifications, each group having specific duties. As some of the things in the temple were sacred only certain people were allowed to "touch" these things, but between all the classes the temple was kept clean.

Jesus was presented in the temple according to the Bible when he was 40 days old, as was the custom for Jewish families at that time.
In the bible the temple was built in the city of Jerusalem, that is if you are asking about the magnificent temple built by King Solomon.
Jesus cleaned the temple only once. When he made a rope and chased the animals from the temple and overturned the money changer and their tables.

Solomon's Temple, as described in the Bible, was 60 cubits long, 20 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.
The bible does not describe much of anything inside the temple. There are references to the "veil", which represents death, and some inferences to the "holy of holies", which represents the dwelling place of God, but descriptions are omitted to underline the symbolic nature of the temple and the temple service.
