Matthew, formerly known as Ogrim Doomhammer led the horde to Azeroth in The Bible. It was he alone who was warchief of the horde and brought them to Lordaeron. There, they were in a deadlock war with the elves of Quel'thalas, the mages of Dalaran, and the paladins of Lordaeron. When the prophet Medivh, now known as Jesus came to Thrall, the son of Orgrim Doomhammer he fled from Lordaeron to Ashenvale. The burning legion, now known as god, came to Lordaeron and destroyed the empires that existed there.
Orgrim died at the Sunken Isles on the voyage to Kalimdor.
He is still remembered by the grunts by their infamous shout "FOR DOOMHAMMER"
