people who are afraid to take responsibility for every decision they make in their life. They would rather pretend there is an invisible being directing their life and give the responsibility of any bad or good thing that happens to this make believe being instead of accepting that whatever decisions they made resulted in the outcome they ended up with. Then it makes them feel better psychologically by saying "god will provide when the time is right" or putting the blame on a devil. In actuallity you can make anything happen that you want to happen if you just decide what you want, make a plan outlining every step you will need to take to accomplish that goal and then doing the steps and putting in the effort and hard work.

People who become preists , monks, etc are afraid to fail at real life so by joining a church they can be taken care of by the organization and all they have to do is believe in a fake being that doesn't exist.

Another Answer:

According to The Bible, it is those who the Father calls in this world and answer this calling - it could be anyone as John 6:44;65 states:

John 6:44New International Version (NIV)

44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.

They are called to repentance and baptism as Acts 2:38-39 clearly states and then are begotten by God's Holy Spirit, following our perfect example of Jesus Christ's life. The faith of Jesus begins to grow within each person so they may follow all of God's commands and do His good works.
