In Greece her name is Artemis. In Rome her name is Diana. She is also the goddess of the Hunt, the moon, childbirth, and virginity. She is the protector of newborn animals (also animals in general), and maidens (virgins). She is known as The Lady of Wild Things, The Mistress of the Wild, and The Mistress of Animals.
