Ruth
Bo´az married Ruth, Naomi's daughter-in-law.
She started by gleaning in his field, to feed her family (Naomi)(Ruth 2:2 - Ruth 3:11). Boaz heard from others what a fine woman she was, hardworking and kind, and she spoke with Boaz about her situation and finally slept at his feet one evening(Ruth 3:14-15) after finding out that he was a distant relative of Naomi's and a 'repurchaser'. Basically her attitude and fine qualities drew Boaz's attention.
This story is at Ruth 3. V. 7 says that Ruth uncovered Boaz' "feet," a euphemism for genitals. At v. 9, Ruth told Boaz, "spread your cloak over your servant," a euphemism for sexual intercourse.
Naomi
No she did not sin, as she was a widow she could marry him.
It can if you slept on them in a restrictive way.
When an awful famine came to Israel, Naomi, her husband and two sons went to the land of Moab to survive. The two sons married Moabite women, but both died soon after. Ruth, the Moabite wife of Mahlon, desired to be blessed by the God of the Hebrews, as Naomi had shown her. When the famine was over, she went back to Israel with Naomi. God made it possible for Ruth to meet Boaz, a kind Israelite landowner. He showed her favor, giving her enough grain from his fields to care for her and Naomi. Naomi was a close relative of Boaz, and so she told Ruth to rest at his feet at the end of the day, as a next of kin. When Boaz realized this, he married Ruth, and she became a blessed Israelite. She became the grandmother of King David, and the ancestor of Jesus.

Ruth 3:7 And after Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was cheerful, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain; and she came softly, uncovered his feet, and lay down. This may seem very irregular to us in our culture, but actually it was the accepted practice in that day and there was nothing evil or suggestive about it.
I've looked around for the answer and there seems to be different theories. The best answer, best research going back to the Hebrew and Greek biblical passages and cultural aspects, I found was from a website called Precept Austin. See related link. Hope this answers your question.
