The Bible has no mention of Adam's first born. Many believe Cain was Adam's eldest child but according to other sources(Moses 5:1-3, 16-18) it suggests he had many children prior to the birth of Cain and his brother Able. In the beginning Adam's children divided into pairs(partners) and populated the land, and there began the population of the world. Adam remained true to God and loved the Lord his entire life, but apparently his children did not believe and turned away - I imagine because they did not believe in something they could not see - gives added meaning to the saying that there's nothing new under the sun, but this is conjecture. When Cain was born Adam exclaimed that he had gotten a man from the Lord (Genesis 4:1) and he may not reject His words. Cain married one of his brothers daughters(Moses 5:28) and he and his wife loved Satan more than God, for as Cain said, "Who is God that I should know Him".
